COVID-19 INTRODUCTORY HANDBOOK IN HOMOEOPATHY

COVID-19, being a new disease, currently has no preventive or curative medicines of proven effectiveness. The advice and information provided in this book are believed to be accurate at the date of publication. Final diagnosis and prescription rests on individual physician’s judicious discretion. Information and data provided are introductory and brief, imparting working knowledge required to attend mild and moderate cases of COVID-19. However, it has been our endeavour to sensitise the physicians so that they can apprehend the warning signs of severe cases warranting timely referral to a dedicated COVID hospital. Views expressed herein, especially in homoeopathic section, are well supported by suitable references cited therein. Some of the views expressed are authors’ own, based on clinical experience of nearly 45 years. Still authors’ advice to readers is to exercise their own discretion adhering to the ‘standard treatment guidelines’ of Ministry of Health and Family Welfare and Ministry of AYUSH, (Govt. of India) and local health authorities while treating patients of COVID-19.
