Methods of case taking according to Hahnemann, Kent, Close, Roberts, Wright-Hubbard. Case analysis. The various repertories of Boenninghausen, Boger and Kent compared. About modern repertories - Complete, Murphy, Repertorium Generale, Thematic, and Synthesis.
Essentials of Repertorization delineates the philosophy, plan and construction of the three foremost repertories - Boenninghausen, Boger and Kent. In addition, detailed working methods have been demonstrated through cases drawn from author's clinical experience at Fr. Muller's Homoeopathic Medical College Hospital, Mangalore. All the cases reported in the book have responded well to the medicine selected through systematic repertorization. This fully justifies the utmost need for a methodical repertorization. Equally important is the selection of repertory suitable to the case. This factor has been dealt with in detail. A list of medicines used in Therapeutic Pocket Book, Boger's Repertory as well as in Kent's Repertory is given here. So far medicines used in the first two repertories have not been indexed. Such an index was a long felt need. A few topics related to repertory have also been included under an Appendix at the end of the book.
This is the second, revised and enlarged edition in which the author has included and described all the popular repertories with their uses, working and shortcomings. A detailed chapter "The life histories of some famous repertories" has been added. The book is only of its kind and a must for practitioners and students (Degree and post-graduate).
